Over the last week, the Nederland Utilities Department has noticed an increase in leaking water meters in need of replacement. In particular, older models that were installed around 2012/2013 seem to be the most likely.
A noise variance has been issued for the Nederland Farmers Market for their Harvest Fest event on October 6th, 2024, from 10am - 4pm at 80 East 2nd Street.

There will be road work on the Peak-to-Peak Highway between Indian Peaks Rd and Ridge Rd from September 16th through October 4th. During this time, expect traffic delays as Peak-to-Peak will be one-lane only.

As part of the water service line inventory to Nederland's water system is up to standard, East 1st Street will be closed between Peak-to-Peak and Snyder Street from 7am - 11am on September 17th and 18th. The Utilities department aims to start as early as possible to reopen the street as quick as they can on both days.
