As part of the water service line inventory to Nederland's water system is up to standard, East 1st Street will be closed between Peak-to-Peak and Snyder Street from 7am - 11am on September 17th and 18th. The Utilities department aims to start as early as possible to reopen the street as quick as they can on both days. The Nederland & Timberline Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) is crucial for addressing wildfire risks in our community, and we need your input to make it effective! All evacuation orders have been lifted. All road closures have been lifted.
Residents will still see firefighting equipment in the area as they continue to mop up after the fire, so please drive slowly and pay attention when in the area. Xcel Energy will also be working in the area to restore gas service.
