The Nederland Board of Trustees and Town staff will be holding a public work session to review the draft of the 2025 budget. This session will take place on Tuesday, October 29th, at 6:00 PM.
Community members are welcome to attend and learn more about the proposed budget for the coming year. Join us in person at the Nederland Community Center, or online via Microsoft Teams:
We invite you to share your thoughts on the Nederland Comprehensive Plan Draft and the Downtown Subarea Plan Draft by taking part in a brief survey. Your feedback will help us create a vision that reflects the needs and aspirations of our town.
Join us tomorrow, October 10th, at the Nederland Community Center from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for a presentation of the draft Comprehensive Plan and Downtown Subarea Plan. This presentation offers an opportunity to learn about the proposed updates on the strategic direction for Nederland’s future growth. Residents are encouraged to drop in anytime during the session.
The Nederland Streets Department will be conducting maintenance work on Alpine and Doe Trail starting this week. Our crews will be opening up the ditches and performing grading work before the winter season arrives.
Important Reminder: Please ensure that all vehicles are moved off the road and out of the work areas to allow our team to complete this project safely and efficiently.

Over the last week, the Nederland Utilities Department has noticed an increase in leaking water meters in need of replacement. In particular, older models that were installed around 2012/2013 seem to be the most likely.
A noise variance has been issued for the Nederland Farmers Market for their Harvest Fest event on October 6th, 2024, from 10am - 4pm at 80 East 2nd Street.
