Over the last week, the Nederland Utilities Department has noticed an increase in leaking water meters in need of replacement. In particular, older models that were installed around 2012/2013 seem to be the most likely. These meters have a serial number starting with 2010.
The Utilities Department suggests checking your water meter for leaks. If you see water dripping or pooling around the meter or have noticed an unusual change in your water meter, let us know!
