Looking for a specific ordinance, or just want to catch up on a past board meeting? Here, you'll find links to various public records. However, if you're looking for something specific, and aren't sure where to start, you can always contact us, and we'll be happy to help!
Board Documents, Meetings, & Agendas
Through our CivicWeb Portal you can subscribe to meeting updates, search documents (such as meeting minutes) and even find out when our next meeting is scheduled. Nederland prides itself on strong, long running traditions. One of these traditions is getting our community engaged with what is going on at Town Hall.
Through CivicWeb, you can find a list of upcoming meetings for all boards, as well as agendas and minutes from past meetings. We are still in the process of uploading past meetings into the portal, so if you don't see a specific agenda or packet that you're looking for, please let us know!
Town Municipal Code, Ordinances, & Resolutions
The Nederland Municipal Code is the local law governing the Town. The Code is enacted by the Board of Trustees as a series of ordinances that get published together as Code. You can learn more about the Nederland Municipal Code and Ordinances here.
If you are looking for a specific ordinance in the code, it can be found on the town municode site:
Resolutions are enacted by the Board of Trustees and carry weight, though not the weight of law. They are not legally binding, but act more like acknowledgements of Board priorities and projects.
If you wish to find a specific Resolution, they can all be found here, and are listed by year.
Past Meeting Recordings
With the transition to online-only meetings in 2020, we began uploading past public meetings to the Town of Nederland YouTube Channel. Since then, we've been uploading every public meeting within seven days of it's original date. They are organized by date, and there is a playlist for each Board or Commission, as well as any long-term projects or special town events that may have been recorded.
NOTE Not every meeting is recorded. If there is a specific meeting that you are looking for and can't find, please let us know!
