As part of the sale of the Denver Broncos, 2% of the net profit was allocated to the Metropolitan Football Stadium District through terms of the original lease and management agreement between the stadium district and PDB Sport LTD. The Town of Nederland, which is a part of the stadium district, received $21,762.43, which will be spent on youth activities. This means the funds can be spent on sports, music, art, dance, or any other youth activities.

The Nederland Presbyterian Church has been approved for a noise variance for Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 from 9am - 2pm for their annual community picnic at Chipeta Park.

The Town of Nederland is issuing a request for proposals (RFP) to provide a Nederland Comprehensive Plan update. Ten years have passed since the Town's current Comprehensive Plan, which means it is time to complete an update!

The Nederland Farmers Market has been approved for a noise variance for Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 from 10am - 3pm for their Party in the Peaks event on 80 E 2nd Street.

The Carousel of Happiness has been approved for a noise variance for Friday, July 21st from 4pm - 10pm, and Saturday, July 22nd from 12pm - 9pm for their Circus Fundraiser at Chipeta Park.

In order to continue the work began with the Reimagine Destinations project, Town has released a Request for Proposals for a Branding and Market Strategy Project.

This project is being funded through the Colorado Tourism Office's Tourism Management Grant that Nederland was awarded in April.

To all Nederland Water Customers - We need your help!

The utilities department is replacing water meters that are out of date and no longer transmitting water usage data to the Town. If your meter is no longer transmitting your water usage, we will be in touch to schedule the replace of your water meter at a later date.
