To all Nederland Water Customers - We need your help!
The utilities department is replacing water meters that are out of date and no longer transmitting water usage data to the Town. If your meter is no longer transmitting your water usage, we will be in touch to schedule the replace of your water meter at a later date.
However, we have also noticed that some of the older water meters that we are replacing have started to leak, so we are asking all residents to check their meter to check if it is leaking. Water meters are located inside your house, usually in a crawl space or basement where the water line enters your home. An older style water meter would look like this:
If your water meter is leaking, please contact the utility billing department by sending an email to billingspecialist@nederlandco.org or call by calling (303) 258-3266 ex. 4010. We will work with you to replace your meter or provide you one to install with the help of a plumber. Although Town provides meters and tracks water usage by reading water meters, meters shall be maintained at the property owner's expense.
