Starting this Monday, August 8th, Xcel Energy & K.R. Swerdfeger Construction will be replacing 400 feet of gas main along Hwy 119 north of - and along - Lakeview Dr. While this work is being done, parts of the street may be narrowed down to one lane.
This project is expected to run from 8/8/22 to 10/3/22. For questions and concerns, please call (719) 367-9956.

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, the Town of Nederland, Colorado, will conduct a mail ballot special election. Voting will take place by mail ballot, with ballots mailed by the Town Clerk to all registered electors between August 1 and August 8, 2022.

Ballots for the upcoming special election will be going out soon! Keep an eye on your mailbox this week and next. Ballots can be accepted at Town Hall and at the drop-off box outside the Community Center! On election day, they can also be accepted inside the Community Center as well.

A Noise Variance has been approved for the National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at the parking lot at Chipeta Park.

Update: Due to weather, the paving project has been pushed back to next Tuesday and Wednesday:
Public works will be paving School Road this coming Thursday & Friday, July 28th & 29th Tuesday, August 2nd & Wednesday, August 3rd. During this time, School Rd will be closed, but access along Indian Peaks Dr and Sundown Trl will still be available.

The Colorado Wastewater Surveillance Program at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is currently monitoring levels of COVID-19 by measuring the quantity of COVID-19 genetic material in wastewater. This information is used to track trends of viral concentration in wastewater for participating communities.
