All evacuation orders have been lifted. All road closures have been lifted.

Residents will still see firefighting equipment in the area as they continue to mop up after the fire, so please drive slowly and pay attention when in the area. Xcel Energy will also be working in the area to restore gas service.

One structure was lost during this fire.

For those impacted by the Lake Shore Fire, a second evacuation point has opened at Nederland Community Center (750 CO-72, Nederland) to serve as a gathering point. Pets are welcome.

Boulder Office of Disaster Management has issued a mandatory evacuation order for the Lake Shore Fire near Gross Reservoir. This order includes areas of West Magnolia right up to Boulder Canyon Road.
Evaction area for the Lake Shore Fire as of 4pm, July 31st. Mandatory evactuations include the Lake Shore,  Aspen Meadows, Ridgewood, and West Magnolia.
