The regular Nederland Municipal Election will be held on April 2nd, 2024. During this election, registered Nederland voters will be electing one mayor and four trustees to the Board of Trustees.
In order to be eligible to run for the position of Mayor or Trustee, each candidate must first meet the following criteria:
I am a citizen of the Untied States
I am at least eighteen (18) years of age
I have been a resident of the Town of Nederland for twelve (12) consecutive months immediately preceding the election
I am a registered elector in the municipality
Candidates must also have a completed nomination petition submitted to the Town Clerk's Office by 6:00pm on Monday, January 22, 2024.
