Nederland Residents: Help Keep Our Bears Safe!

Did you know unsecured trash is the #1 reason for bear encounters in town? The Boulder Bear Coalition, in partnership with Boulder County, is offering FREE bear-resistant trash cans to residents in Old Town and Big Springs, thanks to a grant from Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Protect our black bears and reduce conflicts by signing up for your bear-resistant trash can today. Every bit helps to keep our community and wildlife safe!

A noise variance has been issued for the Carousel of Happiness' Summer Circus Fundraiser, on July 27th from 10am - 6pm at Chipeta Park.

The Nederland Farmers Market as been approved for a noise variance for Sunday, July 21st, from 10:00am to 4:00pm for their Party in the Peaks event, located in the lot at 80 e 2nd Street.

Starting next week, the Nederland Utilities department will begin their annual hydrant flushing, starting in the neighborhoods near the Elementary School. Text, phone, and email notifications will be sent out ahead of time to targeted areas impacted by hydrant flushing.

A noise variance has been issued for Knotted Root Brewing Co from July 4th to July 7th, from 12pm - 10pm each day. Knotted Root is located at 250 N Caribou Rd.

A noise variance has been issued for the 4th of July parade and potluck this Thursday, July 4th from 11am - 4pm. The parade will take place at 112 E 2nd Street and Snyder, while the potluck will take place at Chipeta Park.
