Here's an update on the current status of the Nederland Police Department. Our goal is to do regular updates as things change and keep the community involved as we continue to move forward in the hiring process.
Nederland Parking Survey for the Central business District
Over the last few months, Trustee Danforth and Trustee Corvalan were appointed to work with Town staff (Miranda Fisher - Town Administrator, Cynthia Bakke - Deputy Zoning Administrator, and Macy Caligaris - Deputy Town Clerk) on addressing ways to resolve the parking issues currently in the Central Business District (CBD). Town staff were tasked with researching parking codes of other municipalities as well as assessing where parking could be developed in the CBD.
Sustainability Advisory Board Seeks Two Board Members – Applications Due 12/20/2021
The Town of Nederland is seeking applications for the following boards and commissions:
- Sustainability Advisory Board (2 board positions available)
The Sustainability Advisory Board (SAB) is an appointed board that advises the Board of Trustees on issues of sustainability, conservation, and renewable energy in Town facilities and operations. SAB members serve for three-year terms.
