Join us this 4th of July for Nederland's annual Independence Day parade! This year, we'll be keeping the festivities going afterwards with a community potluck at Chipeta park.
Parade Details:
The Barker Brass Band will start playing on Snyder St. at 11:30am, with the parade starting at noon. The route will run from the starting area by Teens Inc. through E 1st Street, up Snyder, and then through E 3rd St. The parade will go around 1-2 times, depending on how many participants we have.
Want to participate in the parade? Queue up along East Street between the post office and teens Inc. at 11:30am.
After the Parade:
Join us for a community potluck at Chipeta Park from 1:30pm - 4:00pm! Public Works will be working the grill, and we encourage everyone to bring a dish to share. We'll have field games and tie-dying available as well.
